Hey there, credit trailblazer! We're EnFi, a cutting-edge FinTech startup revolutionizing complex credit risk assessment and portfolio monitoring with our AI-powered platform. We're on a mission to transform how institutional and private lenders make decisions, and we need your unique blend of credit expertise and customer advocacy to ensure our clients achieve maximum value from our platform!
Who We’re Looking For
An AI Credit Solutions Analyst who thrives at the intersection of deep underwriting expertise, technical implementation, and exceptional customer outcomes. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams, applying your credit expertise to unlock the full value of EnFi’s platform. As one of the first dedicated hires in this space, you’ll help shape how our credit expertise scales across the company.
The Role
- Deploy with Impact: Work with banks, fintechs, and private lending clients to architect, implement, and optimize AI-powered workflows that solve their most complex credit risk challenges
- Credit Analysis Excellence: Use your credit experience to help customers create their dream commercial credit lifecycle using our AI platform alongside customer teams
- Technical Problem Solving: Act as a first responder for critical customer issues, collaborating with product and engineering to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
- Insight & Enablement: Produce analyses, solution configurations, and written deliverables (like portfolio insights, reporting templates, and AI workflows) that demonstrate measurable client impact.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Translate customer learnings into actionable feedback for product teams while supporting sales and onboarding with credit expertise.
Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in commercial credit, underwriting, or credit risk management, ideally in customer-facing or solution-oriented roles.
- Startup growth DNA - you've been through the journey from early-stage technical challenges to scaling solutions
- AI/ML experience - comfortable building, debugging, and optimizing AI-driven workflows and LLM applications for credit decisioning
- High say-do ratio - proven track record of consistently delivering on technical commitments to customers under pressure
- Technical communication ninja - can explain complex credit concepts and AI insights to both technical and business audiences
Bonus Points For
- Specialized lending experience in asset-based lending, real estate financing, or specialty finance sectors
- Experience with commercial lending platforms and/or credit risk management systems in banks or private credit
- Credit policy development and risk parameter setting experience
- Knowledge of regulatory standards & compliance in lending (CECL, etc)
- Familiarity with modern data stack - experience with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and MLOps workflows
- Previous forward deployed or field engineering experience at a tech company

The Role
- You'll join a team of passionate software engineers, building end-to-end “agentic” and LLM-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with our product team and subject matter experts to infuse your insight into our tools, making them even more powerful for our clients.
- Stay on top of trends, regulations, and anything else that's buzzing in AI, including but not limited to NLP, LLMs, RAG and computational intelligence.

Skills & Experience

- You thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing startup atmosphere and are eager to make your mark.
- 1-2+ years getting your hands dirty with software development in a corporate environment, or contribution to open source projects, is a plus.
